Artist's Description
This is a contemporary abstract acrylic and enamel with mixed media on canvas. The artist is a fan of the Peanuts characters and enjoys the lovable loser that Charlie Brown is. He used a medium coarse additive to thicken the paint, spray enamel and used his 1800's era beer bottle to create his mysterious circles found in his paintings. Signed front and back.
About GH FiLben
Born in the small Northern Panhandle town of Glen Dale, West Virginia, gH FiLben studied art and music at an early age and loved the self abstract expressionism that painting allowed. He studied art and music throughout his childhood and continued through adulthood. He graduated from John Marshall High School and West Virginia University and is a veteran of the U.S. Army. gH FiLben has an original 48x60x1 abstract and mixed media on canvas called "One Green Circle" hanging proudly in Allen Hall on the WVU campus. Now residing in St. Louis, Missouri, he considers himself a self taught artist who works in a wide variety of mediums. His explosive paintings and mixed media art are self representing and unconventional. His stylistic leanings...
