This is an abstract acrylic and enamel spray paint with mixed media on canvas. The artist used a medium sand texture to thicken the paint, and used homemade tools to create his circles and drips. A groove tool, small paint roller and paint pens were also used. Signed front and back.

Born in the small Northern Panhandle town of Glen Dale, West Virginia, gH FiLben studied art and music at an early age and loved the self abstract expressionism that painting allowed. He studied art and music throughout his childhood and continued through adulthood. He graduated from John Marshall High School and West Virginia University and is a veteran of the U.S. Army. gH FiLben has an original 48x60x1 abstract and mixed media on canvas called "One Green Circle" hanging proudly in Allen Hall on the WVU campus. Now residing in St. Louis, Missouri, he considers himself a self taught artist who works in a wide variety of mediums.
